Nothing But Natural!

July 4, 2010  |  Health  |

I was accused of using anabolic drugs today.

Let me make it clear, I have never used any anabolic substance in my entire career and am a very proud 100% DRUG FREE athlete!

This is not the first time I have been accused and I’m sure it will not be the last. I must take it as a complement that relentless hard work can create results that to some, appear unobtainable naturally. Nathane, Rob, Obi, Max, David, James, Tyler and others flourishing in the fitness industry are additional proof that a drug free, marketable image is possible! As fitness professionals, this requires complete dedication and a genuine passion to continually educate ourselves to ensure we maintain our bodies while also helping others improve their health.

No matter what career path someone chooses, we all brand ourselves within our respective industries to create an “image” for ourselves. The reality of fitness & bodybuilding is your image and how others perceive you is often a reflection of being natural or drug assisted. To maintain my level of conditioning and remain “photo ready” all year round I must eat and train to perfection. The foundation of my career is being drug free and I’m proud to have not given in to pressures to develop an image I currently do not have. I’m comfortable with who I am and know that clean eating and smart training will maintain the body I need to be successful.

From day one I have chosen the natural path because in my heart I truly believe in it and want to be a role-model that encourages health, wellness and longevity. For those of you who know me personally, you will already know that this belief has led me to integrate my services as a fitness professional into health care.

In good health,

Aric Sudicky

I may have dipped just under 2% body fat for this one. Hard work and perfect nutrition always does the trick. No drugs necessary.

Aric, as a long time friend, I'm sorry to hear that someone has doubted your training and nutritional regime. Sometimes hard work, dedication, and knowledge is underestimated in those who are all too familiar with quick fixes themselves. Keep your chin up, and continue to reap the benefits of hard work.
